What We Were Up Against
The platform needed to carry the gravitas of a formal awards ceremony while remaining warm and celebratory. It had to present over 15 nominees with their achievements in a way that felt honorific and personal, not like a data list, and had to handle event registration reliably as the 2026 ceremony date approached.
How We Solved It
We structured the site around storytelling: each award category got a full description with detailed nominee criteria, and each honoree was presented with their title, organization, and a personal biography. A marquee carousel brought nominees to life visually. The registration system was built with clear CTAs, urgency messaging tied to the event date, and a sponsor recognition section.
What We Delivered
The WIME Awards 2026 platform launched in time for the ceremony at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. It handled registrations, showcased honorees, and served as the public face for an event that celebrated over 500 awardees across 10 years of impact in Africa's maritime and energy sectors.
